I'm doing 32 things
Its funny to me that this site is called “43 Things” because 43 is my lucky number. It shows up in my life at least once a day. It actually shows up so often, that I no longer count it when I see it in times, or street exits (I live at exit 52, so I see 43 almost every day there), or temperatures. I only count it if it is completely random, like on TV or a receipt. And even then, I see it at least once a day.

I got engaged! My fiancee proposed on the 5 year anniversary of the day we met. I had stayed home sick, but we had plans to go out to dinner to celebrate. I was exhausted, so when I told him I was ready to go, I wasn’t very enthusiastic. I was even less enthusiastic when he asked, “Oh, is that your outfit?” I was already in a bad mood, so I was a little offended. I responded with a very short yes, to which he said, “I think it’s missing something.” He leaned in and kissed my cheek and I said, “awww, because a kiss completes any outfit?” He stepped back, took out a ring, and said, “No, this does.” He got down on his knee and asked if I would marry him. Before pulling him off of his knee into a big bear hug, I said, “Absolutely!”
I am so happy! And my ring is perfect.
Tagalongs are my favorite Girl Scout Cookies. I’ve loved them since I was a Girl Scout, 20 years ago. Even now, its the only cookies I buy. Mmmmmm peanut butter and chocolatey goodness.
