am trying to think of my good deed for the day: for whom did i have a kind gesture, did i make lots of people – or anybody – smile today???
y am i even takin time to find the answer. it should spring to my mind the moment i think of it. a good action, a tender gesture, a kind smile, it all comes from the heart. just do it & see the chain of reaction that you just started with a simple stretch of those underutilized lips.
do you kno that an adult smiles an average of 17 times a day (n that’s being over kind in the estimation, i believe). now go find out the average # of times a baby smiles in a day.

i’ve 5 papers to sit for in 2 weeks time n my request @ work for leave is yet to be approved. yikes, when do they think am gonna revise? i sure lovve my sleep too much to let it dwindle drastically. ok, maybe an hour or so every two nights, but no more. i want my study leave order to start revising seriously. wen am at work, i think too much of all the kind of probs n deadlines that need to be reached at all cost.
and the worst is that my stats lecturer has decided that we need a classtest this saturday. can u believe it, less than a forthnight b4 the dreaded days.

it wasnt something planned. one day my boss came up looking for people interested in joining him in a group tour to the UAE. i barely rememba sayin ‘yes’.. within 3 weeks i had packed a light case n off we flew to the magnificent country.
it’s like a dream. walkin around the gold souk with gold everywhere you look, the spice market, the malls, shopping like crazy, eating absolutely delicious exotic far east dishes, going on dinner cruises, the ancient palaces n houses..
my BEST souvenir is the desert safari, first in the jeep, followed by a ride on camel to reach a camp in midst of the desert. the great food, the music, the hash, and mmmmmmm the belly dancing. ah it’s been a heavenly trip.
i brought back lots of great souvenirs n sweet momentos, plus a very heavy trunk after spendin 1 hr in the dubai duty free airport shops.
anybody going soon? go ahead. no need to spend lots of days there, a little more than 1 week’s sufficient. n did i say how much i loved the local music – its vibrant.
