How I did it: A lot of running during the week, a lot of support from the love of my life, and perseverance. Keeping a positive attitude and believing in myself was key to being able to finish. Read how I did it…
How I did it: After running the 5k race three years earlier, I had it in my mind that I'd do the 20k. The next year I got pregnant during the beginning of my training and had to push it back a year. The year after that I injured myself and couldn't do it again. I never thought I'd get this one done. How I did it: I prepared myself mentally, emotionally, and physically. I read a lot of books on many different subjects about birthing. It's really important to have a good birthing team who will support you and that you feel comfortable with. Have faith in your body, it was meant to do this.
