I recently watched a documentary by renowned CNN journalist Christiane Amanpour about the AIDS epidemic in Africa and it’s tragic effect upon the lives of young African children. I was so inspired to do something to help that I went onto the savethechildren.org website and sponsored a child. This is the child I sponsored-an adorable little 5 year old boy from Mozambique. His name is Geralmido. Helping others inevitably becomes one of the most beautiful forms of self-expression that one can offer and I hope that this will be the first of many of my humanitarian experiences.
