With the New Yorker, Harper’s, etc. piling up, my reading has been one-sided lately. I promised myself I’d read an actual book on my recent vacation, and I did: “In Cold Blood,” by Truman Capote. Yes, I was inspired by seeing the new movie. I highly recommend both.
