Japan is amazing, I lived there for 3 years. And don’t just go to Tokyo, make it a tour of the whole country, countryside, lesser known cities, etc.

If you go in February, try the Sapporo Snow Festival—absolutely the most fascinating winter festival you will ever see in your life and a fun city as well.
