I have sort of done this already, but I could only go as far back as 1860 on either side of the family – I am suprised to have discovered that in 1860 we were related to the famous Grant brothers Hugh + Richard E’s as distant relations… I think they were my great great grandparents, cousins children descendants if I remember correctly? Whatever, I do know that my side of the family were the owners of the whole of Mill Hill and part of Burnt Oak during this time. The Grant side of the family had a dispute with my side of the family and went their seperate ways apparantly.
They are not the only famous people in my tree either, closer in relation is Terence Stamp who is my fathers cousin, and Roy Hudd who is my grandmothers cousin.
I’d like to know more about the family, as theres some people in the last 60yrs missing from the family tree and to go as far back as possible, as my grandmother has some proof that we are from royal heritage (Germany and Romania mostly) its just I need to make a little more effort to sit with her and question her about the other relatives.
I want to adopt a dog, seen 4 I like so far and considering at Battersea, and going to be interveiwed at the Mayhew centre on Monday too.
