am initially doing this for Lent (gave up chocolate last year but ended up eating other sugary crap to replace it!!!) am not religious in any way but feel it is a good way to kickstart dietary change…
getting very nervous….also not sure what exactly to cut out – what about dried fruit? honey? i love having raisins or dates in my porridge.

hello there! was just wondering whether white pasta is a bit of a naughty sugar-like substance itself…? have read on the net about it being harmful and causing the same kind of blood glucose and insulin spikes as sugar does…what does everyone else think?
i personally think giving up sugar AND pasta would be well nigh IMPOSSIBLE but i could always try….
