I have been following the Couch to 5K plan from CoolRunning.com for far longer than the 9 weeks they suggest, and it’s worked really well. Has anyone else used this? Robert Ullrey has put out some good podcasts that go along with the plan too on iTunes.

How I did it: I didn't want to count this goal as "met" if I only kept a journal for a week or two and then stopped. I purchased a 5-year diary on Amazon and I write a bit in it before I go to bed: mostly about things that h… Read how I did it…
How I did it: We used to have a water cooler at work but had to get rid of it because of budget cuts. I carry a 1 L Sigg bottle and a 27 oz Klean Kanteen with me. I drink out of the Klean Kanteen, and then when it is empty, I refill it with water from the Sigg. What really helps is if I take a dr… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I always carried a book with me. I have always been a voracious reader, and for the past couple of years I use a Moleskine daily planner to keep track of my reading. It's a really handy way to keep track of how many books I read, and I can look back and see what I was reading at a certain… Read how I did it…

I have done this for one month, no stepping foot into Walmart. It’s been fabulous! I’m planning to keep this up indefinitely, so I’m marking this as “done.” Totally worth it!
Ok, one month later, and I haven’t stepped inside a Walmart! It’s been really great, and I don’t miss it at all. I’m looking at keeping this up indefinitely, so it’s marked as “done.”
