1. Filling out the paperwork to enroll Claire in daycare. It’s bittersweet. I’m loving my time at home, but I’ve been thinking a lot about work lately. I just need that regimented schedule a little more.
2. Rachel Ray had a segment on her show about traditional husband/wives rolls. It made me think how much I boss my husband around. And how much I talk at him. He really has been tuning me out lately. Not that I’m about to turn into June Cleaver for him. I can’t do it all myself and, if I’m working out of the house, I’m not going to. (Dr. Scott Haltzman, author of The Secrets of Happily Married Women: How to Get More Out of Your Relationship by Doing Less)
3. Speaking of, I hate handling raw chicken and Barry likes his chicken breasts cut thin. Claire needed to be fed right before 6pm. So I left dinner for Barry to make. (against the advice above) and he did a great job.
4. Lost a little weight this week!

How I did it: When I got married, I had about $20,000 in credit card debt. It accumulated from the 10 months I had a house payment and rent to pay. It also accumulated from living beyond my means when I first moved to the big city. The group I hung out with went to a lot of movies, concerts, and games.I took out the Home Equity Line of Credit after our marriage. I paid at minimum $400/month towards it. Some months I paid $… Read how I did it…
How I did it: It was easier when I could do it at work:0 I just log in every day for my quick entry. The people that I've met through this goal are incredible and supportive. I can't believe they want 150 words for this. Jeez. How picky. I'm feeling like I'm writing a report for school. Why do they need 150 words. I'm just typing to fill in the requirement. How I did it: The menu was the hardest part. It kept changing on me. I also had to work that morning, so Mom had to start the turkey and Barry did the potatoes. It turned out really well, though. Read how I did it…

1. I went to knitting circle today. I didn’t sit at the fun table. It was a bit of a drag. I kept on eavesdropping on the “fun” table, though. Claire woke up after only 30 minutes. There is always someone willing to snuggle, but I think I’m going to stop going to the morning class. I’ll start going back to my Wednesday night class.
2. I managed to get about 40 minutes of a nap. Bad mom that I am, Claire was laid on her stomach so she’d sleep long enough for me to get the nap. Then the neighbor’s new puppy, who hates to be left alone in the yard, started crying and it woke me up.
3. I called and checked in at work. Things seem to be going well. I’ve got 32 more days of freedom:) I’m planning on taking Claire in next week for a visit.

We aren’t doing our siblings this year. That will save a little bit of stress.
