I doubt that I will ever be able to actually stop watching TV altogether, but I would like to work on cutting back on my TV viewing. I don’t watch the TV as much as I used to, but since I got a TIVO back a few years ago my TV viewing has certainly increased again. With the baby on the way I know that fact alone will keep me busy so I will not have as much time to watch TV. It’s sad but I already have my TIVO recording scheduled for this fall. Already I have played to watch 18 hours of shows each week. That is just too much. I need to pick out 5-6 shows top and keep my viewing down to no more than 7 hours a week if I can.

I feel like over the years I have become more cynical about people. I used to always try to see the best in people and withhold judgements until after I knew them. It seems like more and more over the years I haven’t stuck by this. I automatically assume that people are up to no good or just wanting something. Though I try to still be polite, I don’t think I am as friendly as I used to be. I often will practically ignore someone trying to make small talk to me. I want to work on getting back to like I used to be.
My wife is wonderful. She is beautiful, smart and always supportive of me. I know there are so many things that I could do to help her our. Even more so know that we have the baby on the way. I am going to start working at listening better. Never good at that. Also need to help more around the house and do my part. When she cooks I need to be sure to clean up the dishes and so forth.
