Well…. we ordered the seeds, they’ve arrived… now just have to wait for spring!! Some of the plants we can start ahead inside. We’re thinking, though, that we’re going to relocate the garden, to a spot a little closer to the house, where we can keep a better eye on it, and our little Jack Russell can keep the gophers away!! I even remembered to get sunflowers!! I’ve always wanted to grow them!! I know it will be a challenge to keep a garden going in our mid B.C. climate, but, well, others have done it….

How I did it: I just had to quit thinking about it, and then get it done - nothing's ever as bad as it seems when you're just thinking about it... putting it off.... Just make a point of doing a little each day, then things don't pile up on you. Read how I did it…
Part of what our V.F.D. does is First Responder – this can be to a traffic accident, or any other kind of accident or incident, or medical emergency anywhere in our responding area… you could be called upon to do first aid, direct traffic, preserve a scene – whatever is required to preserve life or safety until the proper agencies arrive on the scene. First aid is a large part of it.
It’s always such a mess… I clean it up, and before I know it, clutter starts to creep in again… an envelope, a few papers, a remote.. and then a whole deluge of crap!! Right now, I’m looking at: coffee cup, two sets of ipod earphones, camera, ipod touch, remote for satellite radio, remote for stereo, candy bag, memory stick, index cards, cds, scrap paper, flash drive, flash LIGHT, phone card, cheque book, nail clippers, mouse I’m not using right now, dog’s choke collar… did I mention this is a fairly small desk?? Groan!! Not to mention dust…
