How I did it: Basically, I have an alarm clock set to go off at about midnight every night. Our daughter is pretty much conditioned to be semi-conscious about then, so things go pretty well. We have accidents on occasion, but very sporadic ones. Read how I did it…

Lately, my literal calling has been photography. My church has sent out a request, to me and some other folks, for pictures for the church’s Web site. Since I cut my teeth taking pictures of that beautiful old building, this is a special pleasure for me.
Paperbackswap is so much fun! You post books on their site, and when one of your books is requested (you pay postage, requester gets book at no charge), you get points so that you can request a book yourself! This week I’m sending off 3 books to people, so that means 3 future books for me and my family—fun!
at our CSA. Don’t know if we’ll be doing it again next year, but it sure is fun to be able to go out to a farm and pick up the food we’ll be eating …
