I went meat free (except the occasional seafood item) a year and a half ago, and I’ve never felt better! I think my body really reacts poorly to the hormones given to the animals – thus making me never want to eat them again. I do miss the burger though…

Running gives me both.
When I am running, my body feels so strong and healthy. This feeling carries on into my diet/sleep routine throughout the day.
When I am running, my mind is so calm. I am better able to cope with the stress and busyness of my life after a good run.
I just added this goal because with Lent approaching on Wednesday, I am reminded by the amazing sacrifice Christ made for me and how I so absentmindedly take that granted. I have decided to take the TV out of our home for lent to force me to rethink my priorities, my desires, and my relationship with Jesus.
