How I did it: Thought long and hard about what I wanted before I got each of my tattoos - drew them out, added and subtracted details, and waited for them to tell me where on my body they wanted to be. On my first two, I went to a guy I heard about, but for my latest and biggest piece of art, I went to a convention to watch the artists work. How I did it: Flew with 2 friends to Paris, then rented a car and drove thru the Loire Valley. Stayed in a gite (little guesthouse on a farm) near Chartres, if I remember correctly, and from that home base, made day trips to the chateaux, Amboise, Tours, Orleans, and many, many little vineyards.
