How I did it: So about 3 months ago I decided to change from my old ways for good. I am 18 years old, about to enter college for the first time, and I didn’t want to start out unhappy with the way I looked or felt because I’ve struggled with my weight and insecurity my whole life. How I did it: I have only been to Ghana but I have been there twice. The first time I went with my mom and some NYU students (my mom is a professor and was teaching a class there) and while she was teaching, I went and volunteered at an Orthopedic clinic there and acted as an assistant nurse! So I finally got my permit like a month ago. I have been going out driving with my dad in NJ. Hopefully I will be ready to take the road test by the end of the summer!
