Happiness is a choice, not a result:
1. I let each day be a new beginning.
2. Every day I really “pay attention” to my experience.
3. Every day I slow down to wait for slow ideas to catch up with speedy emotions.
4. Every day I remember that happiness is a choice I make, not something that happens to me. This is not easy to believe, but always is true, I am convinced. Attitude is everything!
5. Every day I do 3 things that “need doing.”
6. Every day I eat good food and get some exercise.
7. Every day I remember that butter, hamburgers, Coke, fries, sugar, and corn additives are examples of junk that is not real food.
8. Every day I read something that requires effort.
9. Every day I read something that cheers me up.
10. Everyday I indulge in some kind of creativity.
11. Every day I try to have fun and see something new.
12. Every day I practice, “Do it now,” rather than put off little unpleasant chores.
13. Every day I follow Ben Franklin’s advice, “A place for everything, and everything in its place.”
14. Every day I make a point to really notice that it is good to be alive in spite of problems!
15. Every day I use “connection and detachment.”
