study abroad
Seoul, Korea

So, I was illiterate in Korea for the duration of my life until the end of highschool when I attended the Yonsei summer program. The Korean Language Institute was an interesting program and I lucked out because my teacher was so awesome.

I definitely enjoyed immersing myself in Korean culture while learning the language. And the rate at which I was improving was amazing. Granted, when I returned to LA I sort of…stopped improving.

Give blood
Untitled

The first time I donated blood, it was at my highschool for a blood drive. I’ve never been afraid of needles, so I just watched in fascination as the woman softly embedded the needle in my arm. And damn I never knew my blood was so hot! The tube leading to the packet felt really hot against my skin. But in hindsight, it makes sense since the average body temp is around 98 degrees.
