I’ve done this before; more than once, but it’s not often that we get snow in Dallas.

I built a desk for my daughter a couple of months ago and we painted it together. It turned out pretty well for my first try, but it could definitely be better. I haven’t built anything since then because I don’t have the right tools or protective gear and I’m afraid I’ll put my eye out or lose a limb. I wish I had time to apprentice for a carpenter.
I had my husband spot me while I tried to do a back flip a couple of years ago. He got into position and I went for it. The next thing I remember is lying on my side on top of my husband’s head with a sore back and hip. Neither of us could figure out what had happened or how we came to be in that position. My husband said we were never to speak of the incident again…but he didn’t say I couldn’t write about it. HA!
