I’ve lost 10 kilos already, now I want to lose the other 10 to bring down to HEALTHY weight.
I’ve just finished “Giving up beer for 80 days” in attempt to shift some weight and it was a positive thing. So I’m giving up beer until my b’day in November.
One time jock rediscovering the joys of fitness, this is worth it and though hard to stay motivated (what is the difference between a rest day and just being lazy?) it is worth doing.
I am still yet to see the results I really want but I do feel better, more in control and it has been fun :)
I recommend : http://www.stumptuous.com/weights.html for inspiration and helpful hints
I heartily recommend Stitch and Bitch: A Knitter’s Handbook for the newbie knitter, I bought it about 9 months ago after I had been knitting for about 2 months and it keeps answering my questions, excellent reference guide for all aspects of knitting and has some great patterns as well to get you started.
I recommend the Big Bad Baby Blanket it was the first thing I knitted from the Stitch and Bitch : A Knitters Handbook which also give a newbie knitter all you need to know on the how to’s … just remember to take regular rest and stretch breaks.
That being said there’s always more to see, Australia is a big place … must see list for first timers would include:
Harbour Bridge Climb
Surfing lessons on Bondi Beach
Ferry ride to Taronga Park Zoo
Great Ocean Road
I friend invited me to go sky diving with him for his “Buck’s Night” celebration. I had never really wanted to do this, just never thought it would be something I’d do and I only said yes after looking up the safety stats (it’s safer than driving a car).
I was nervous the whole two weeks before and sure I or someone in our party was going to die. The day of the event there was a huge thunderstorm and I was sure it was going to be cancelled … right up until the guy I was attached to pushed my arse out of the plane and I was hanging 13 000 ft up in the air, then he let go …
To know the rest you’ll just have to do it but WOW is it fun :)
