I have very little willpower (see my diet entries!) but this I found quite easy. I didn’t expect that.
HOWEVER, to qualify that I am watching TV during dinner (we eat in the living-room and I watched one of my boxsets only – no TV). Then it goes off and that’s that. I am not following any programmes at all.
The only time the aerial came back in the house was when mother-in-law stayed and wanted to watch TV. I still didn’t watch it myself though. I shouldn’t let other people dictate how my home is run, but I guess that’s another thing I have to tackle!

Gggggrr! The advert for piano lessons on my work intranet has been removed. I think there was only one place left and that’s gone. Ah well. I will look for another teacher. Maybe I’ll find someone more local anyway….....

It’s my own damned fault. Don’t know what’s wrong with me!!!!
A friend has invited me to join Weight Watchers with her. I’m going to do it. I need to make a commitment to myself and see if through. I don’t even know what good portions are anymore. I can’t seem to focus and stay on track. I think a good support group and having to check-in weekly will help greatly. Also, I need recipes to give me a clue where to start. There’s a WW class just up the road from my job so I’ve really got no excuse.
I have a treadmill gathering dust at home which I will start using. I have all the “tools” – I just need to get on board and commit myself to this.
I am annoyed with myself as I promised I’d lose weight in 2006. With 3 months to go, I haven’t a lot of time. I would love to be slimmer for Xmas. I won’t lose 75lbs by then but I could lose at least half of my excess weight.
