This goal is going well. I’ve studied German in college and have a few friends who are fluent speakers. I’m doing my best to surround myself with a bit of German every day, whether it be listening to German radio on the internet, reading German news, or setting down to learn some new vocabulary.

I want to inspire my students just as my teachers throughout the years have inspired me. A great teacher leaves their mark on their student years after they have left the studio. I want my students to be prepared and able in their technique, and equally importantly, I want them to understand music and believe music and become wise in their studies. Understanding music has helped me to understand myself and the world around me, and it is that magic that I want to impart to my students. I want to teach great violinists.
