There are several ways to study abroad; my chance was through the Rotary Youth Exchange Program. Your local Rotary club will be able to supply more information; however, this program is usually for students nearing their high school graduation or recent grads.

My one thing is to follow the greatest adventure, love, the world over. I am heading to Brazil this summer (June/July) to meet up with someone whom I care deeply about. We met while we were both exchange students in Mexico years ago. Something clicked between our personalities: probably something to do with the zeal of two hopeless optimists.

After years of casual communication and a growing friendship, we realized just what we’re living without. So, I’m hoping a plane and heading to Brazil where we’ll spend 3-6 weeks together, most likely travelling around different parts of South America.

When you have a haunch… you just have to go for it.
