speak three languages
I'm fed up of just speaking english loudly to foreigners! 10 months ago

English is my native language so i’d also like to be able to speak three other langauges, although that may not be very realistic! I’d love to be able to speak French (I can a bit), Spanish (the very basics) and Arabic (haven’t a clue), im not sure why those three langauges, I guess so wherever I am in the world there’s a good chance i’ll be able to communicate with someone…although I should proably learn Cantonese or Mandarin…but maybe thats getting too ambitious! I’ll start with French as see how I go! Good luck everyone, I think this is a really cool ambition to have

Lose 35 pounds
Ok, lets go! 2 years ago

I’ve been moaning about being over-weight for I dont know how long, and im finally sick of listening to myself moan, it’s either get healthy and self-confident time or….well i guess or time to just continue down this same old road, wake up in a year with another couple of stone to lose! I’m setting this as a personal challenge to see how much weight i can lose before i go home for summer (im hoping about 35 pounds, might be too optimistic, but hey ho), just the thought of seeing all my friends and family’s reactions to me losing that weight should hopefully be enough motivation for me to stay strong. Im hoping because im young, and not totally un-fit that i can lose weight relativly fast if i put my mind to it – although i reakon if i put my mind to it i could do pretty much anything (no arogance just fact) hehehehe!
anyway good luck to evreone on here, its encouraging to hear people’s success, ill be sure to post here again to tell you of my amazing success etc! :p xxx

travel
Untitled 2 years ago

Last year I decided to spend my savings and just go travelling, absaloutly worth it! I was so terrified before I left tho, my first trip without my parents, I was only 18 and didnt have anybody to travel with, but hey ho just took the plunge. Started in Thailand, shopping in Bangkok is amazing! Then went to to the north to Chang Mai and went treking up a mountain and got to ride elephants! Decided on a whim to go to Cambodia (thats the thing about Thailand it’s so easy to get into neighboring countries, it cost me about £10 to go from Bangkok to Siem Reap in Cambodia). Incredible temples in Siem Reap (were they filmed tomb raider!) went to the capitol Pnom Phen for a while before returning to Bangkok to fly to Singapore. Left Asia and went to Australia, landed in Cairns and planned to leave a month later from Sydney, but of course one month turned into two! The east cost of Oz is set up for backpackers and so was quite easy to travel round, stopped at so many places along the way my favorites were Cairns (were i went skydiving), Frasier island (went camping and swimming in beutiful lakes, the stars at night are the brightest i’ve ever seen), Byron Bay (lazy days sitting on the beach and getting drunk at night!), this lodge in the middle of nowhere were we went night kayaking, ate pizza in a fire warmed hot tub and slept in cabins! and of course sydney, just an incredible city! After Oz I left for LA, didnt spend too much time there but it was fun, went up to San Francisco which was amazing, spent three days on a train trying to get to Kansas city to visit friends (i hate trains now!), After Kansas went back to the tourist trail and left for Chicago, an amazing city with great music clubs and pizza! Then my last stop was New York, a city i’ve always wanted to visit, did the whole touristy thing and spent the last of my money on the incredible shopping,. Spent four months in total travelling around, I absaloutley plan to do more, want to do more of Asia, South america, Africa, the middle east, easter europe and more of North america & canada, I want to go everywhere. And hey if a little scottish 18 year old girl with no sense of orginisation or planning can travel then anybody can! If you’ve ever thought of doing it just go for it, of course you’ll have bad experiences, but they serve to make the good experiences so much better, and you’ll be a better person because of them. Whether a chance you’ve take turns out good or bad you’re always glad you took it! go for it! :)
