my fiance and I fantasize about winning the lottery quite often, and talk about what we will buy, what we will do, and how we won’t end up crazy and broke in 5 yrs like many other winners. then we laugh at how dumb we are for hoping and wishing that we’ll win, because we have never once purchased a ticket! :O ;)

edit: we bought 5 #s this week. lost, of course! :( but you can’t win if you never play, right?!

Learn Spanish

bought my mom the lessons 1-8 of The Pimsleur Approach for xmas and made copies of the CDs for myself (shh!). listened to a little of it today and even my boyfriend who is anti-learning Spanish was getting into it and repeating the phrases! i took many years of Spanish in school so i think these may be a little too basic for me, but they’re a nice refresher and i love how they focus on conversational speaking rather than grammar rules.
