How I did it: So, I dyed my hair blonde last week, and it was a huge amount of fun, with a very striking result. I think it looks pretty cute - my partner didn't like it much for the first few days, but I think he's getting used to it. He's a bit old-fashioned when it comes to girly hair, he keeps asking me to "grow it longer" again. Pfft. How I did it: I suppose it's taken me about 6 months of regularly attending an Iyengar school in Canberra, where the teachers will hold you back from progressing unless you start to develop a home practice. Our teacher recommended just 10 mins or so three times a week, and I'm actually starting to do it.
