Been to a lot of places in the last 10 years or so but still have quite a list left!
One word of advice: pick your travel groups/partners carefully! Nothing worse than being stuck in a foreign country with someone who’s not talking to you.
You know, not that that’s happened to me.

I read this years ago in the summer “for fun.” It had been referenced a lot in my college theology classes and I thought I should read it. Turned out, I really enjoyed it.
Best of luck to you all!

This morning I completed my first 15K (9.3 miles). I was using it as a test run to see how my body would respond to the demands of increased training. I don’t have my chip time yet but I believe I was able to run the race with a sub 11 minute mile pace.
The Hart Bridge was brutal after the 7 mile mark. It wasn’t the hill of the bridge (which honestly was bad enough) but the 40 mph wind gusts blowing sideways across it! That climb seemed to last FOREVER. But I was still able to run the entire way with no walk breaks.
I don’t see any reason why a Half Marathon wouldn’t be the next distance race goal for me. But in the meantime I plan to back off my training for a rest period and then set my sights on August’s Tour de Pain (3 races in 2 days).
I’ll check back in here later!
