I’m currently nursing to my 5th case of acute tonsillitis this year, 4th in less than 12 weeks. I finished my antibiotics from the last case on monday and started having symptoms again on wednesday. we’re trying a stronger antibiotic this time, since I’m in grad school and can’t take off the requisite 3 weeks to get the tonsillectomy till December (4 months from now). if I get sick again after this round I’m gonna go on a low dose of some antibiotic to keep it in check till december.

I’ve never been to a place where I felt more safe and accepted. I look around, and everybody is Jewish! nobody is going to try to convert me or tell me I’m going to hell.

also, the dead sea is trippy! make sure you don’t miss it!
