I’ve started Jillian Michael’s Making the Cut program. I’m on Day 4 of 30 and so far I’ve been able to stick to it. The eating is easy, but the workouts are brutal. I have never been able to complete one of these programs before, but I am determined to do it this time.

I have been thinking about ideas for an article (or several) to submit to some journals. This will be my summer research project once I’m done teaching for the semester. Exciting!
So maybe its not once a week, but I have emailed a few times, and have heard she is delighted to get the emails. Its easier this way really, because she can’t hear very well, and can’t participate in group conversations because she doesn’t know what’s going on, so this way she’s much more involved in everyone’s lives.
