Counseling update

I called the sliding-scale counseling place, left a message, and they called me back the next day to obtain my schedule. I expressed interest in individual counseling as well as potentially joining a men’s group. I figure there’s bound to be some dads and husbands in the men’s group. I have been to this place before for couple’s counseling and we ended up married, and happy so far, so I thought I’d give it a shot to help me with some more personal issues I’m having, like some relatively mild depression/anxiety/self-esteem issues. Plus, the major reason for me to go is that I cannot get over pot on my own and I want to use individual counseling to support myself in that endeavor.

Use My Health Insurance
Consult a physician before use

Yesterday I did a lot of looking around online to figure out some ways beat my depression/anxiety. In so doing I came upon several websites that recommend several different vitamins and herbal supplements. Some of which are best ingested via food, others are best taken in their natural form, some only have to be smelled but almost all of them come as pills. On ALL of them it says to consult a physician before use, and I actually would really prefer that but it still costs me money to go to the doctor because of my “health savings plan”-type insurance. I want to go ‘head and start taking some of the pills I have in preparation to abstain from marijuana but I am having a hard time discerning the effects of combining random supplements. I think that we’ll hit our deductible soon due to paying out of pocket for all pregnancy-related costs thus far, so then it’ll be covered and I won’t have to pay for a visit.
I just want to start mitigating the negative affects of pot withdrawal now so that it’ll actually stick once I am completely tapered off.
It’s funny how all these goals get so interrelated.
Anyways.
