Five years in our house; it is time to clear the chaos to make way for LIFE and friends and family and ourselves.

Take advantage of the neighborhood yard sale on June 21. Spend any $$$ in Costa Rica!

Beamer was the best dog ever. She shared our lives for 14 wonderful years. I miss her.

learn to ride a motorcycle
Ride, Just Ride

I love riding my motorcycles. I started at 19 and never looked back. I’m willing to help people who are learning to ride, who are planning to travel, who want to ride more, or with just about anything motorcycle-related. For several years, I organized “learn to ride” and “experienced rider” courses for my “motorcycle gang” in Cincinnati – a local chapter of Women on Wheels.

My best advice to beginners:
1. take a course; don’t learn from a loved one or friend, go to the pros. Then enjoy the insurance discount and the waiver of your state riding test!
2. ride every day, or as often as you can, even short rides. The more often you ride, the better rider you will become. You’ll learn more in six 20-minute rides than you will learn in one 2-hour ride.
3. always wear your safety gear: helmet, gloves, jacket, long pants, and more. Always.
4. have fun! and enjoy the gas mileage.
