My first entry seems so ambitious now. Yes the course is on but as far as my writing goes I have done diddly squat. I haven’t done any of the exercises and the only work I’ve done for the course is read the course material and written 3 short pieces for the first assessment. I got decent but not brilliant scores and I need to submit the long piece for 70% of the score by the 23rd. I will probably be able to do it and I have enough talent to get a decent score (I hope!) but I have put nothing into this course and am therefore going to get nothing out. But at least I have the course material ad hopefully I will someday make better use of it.
The truth is I o longer enjoy being creative. I don’t do it for fun. And no course is going to change that.

I have a Indian license and I drove occasionally (rarely, and never on my own)in my early twenties but I gave it up because I was too nervous and it was too easy to rely on the chauffeur.
Now I live in London, I’m nearly 30 and my husband isn’t keen on learning to drive. If I don’t do it now I never will. So this is oe of the 3 goals I’ve identified to do by my 30th birthday.
First step – fill up the provisional driving license application form & send it off. Will do that tonight.

I know that’s the millionth entry with that title but giving up isn’t the solution either is it? Winter and Christmas has loosened my control immensely and I’m grateful the damage isn’t worse! My target was to reach 74kg by my birthday. Seeing how that is 4 months and 12kg away I think it’s a tad ambitious but worth a go.
