I have a borderline fascination with wool. I bought some beautifully dyed roving on etsy and am waiting patiently for it to arrive. I have some I got awhile ago and I really want to spin it but not like real yarn. I want to make sort of felted clumpy strings with it to put on a decorative quilt.

I would like to do something not related to myself as a mom, wife or who everyone knows me as. I would like to go somewhere and do something to help people less fortunate than myself. Here in the U.S. people complain about wanting and needing more “stuff” but we are probably the most wasteful nation on the planet.
I have been semi-successful doing this. My best sales were by an accidental viewing of my quilt online when I had forgotten I even had a picture of it at that site. She ended up buying 3 quilts and a quilt top. She says she is saving for another quilt. Recently I am putting my stuff on Etsy.com. That is working out ok, I did sell one and have been able to get creative again now that I have a little motivation. Hopefully I will sell more.
