frankly that’s both exhilarating and frightening. although i am physically an adult, mentally an adult, i don’t have the responsibilities of adults from my parents’ generation. (read: mortgage.)

although i am financially independent (as in i have a job and can pay off my purchases while saving some for a raining day), i really want a place to call my own. a place that i can invite friends over. a place with a large kitchen counter so i can buy the coveted KitchenAid stand mixer and Le Creuset dutch oven.

all in due time of course. i hope i will buy the co-op i have my eyes on this year before my current lease runs out in May.

it’s been 10 years since i took japanese in high school. i catch words and phrases here and there. i want to remember it so i am refreshing my memory and hopefully i will be good enough to pass the placement exams and go to second year japanese classes, if not even more advanced.
