The iconic “Glass House” by Philip Johnson has just been opened up for tours and I would LOVE to take a trip to check it out at some point. It might even give me a great excuse for seeing what that other coast of ours looks like.
Apple did a nice little piece on the technology and art direction behind the installations:

They’re already booked up into May 2008. Watch out New Canaan, CT, here I come!

I ordered a Suze Orman kit to get this done. As annoying as I think she is on tv, the kit looks to be pretty comprehensive and it only costs $13.95. You can supposedly just answer a questionnaire and then push print at the end. Hopefully, the software take any pain out of the process and not add to it. We shall see…

I would just pitch the “teach a man to fish…” mantra on this. I believe the pursuit of climbing is lifelong and that to really appreciate the mountain, you have to climb it under your own power and expertise. Don’t pay to get someone else to drag you up the mountain. Take classes on smaller mountains, find people to train with and get better with, and then go do this. You will never regret it.
