I am beach-sick. I grew up on the beach, our backyard WAS the beach. I miss it. The smell, the sounds, the way the house would shake when big waves would hit the seawall.
Ahh. Sea glass collecting, digging for clams, finding crabs and scaring littler kids…so many fond memories. Luckily mum and dad still live there so I can visit, but it’s just not the same.

I found out that I had Celiac disease when I was 25…I just thought it was normal to have diarrhea everyday. Gross but true. It’s totally worth going gluten free because it feels good dammit. Plus you’ll end up eating much healthier things by default. There are lots of good books/cookbooks/recipes for all those gluten-laden treats that one might miss.
