In just a few days I was able to increase my rails knowledge 500% and in the process end up with a nice little multi user todo list application along the lines of 43 things(much simpler). I look forward to making it more functional and pretty but that will have to sit on the backburner as I am about to embark on my first paid rails application :)

Be my own boss
Right now I work in a pretty dead end student job. I hate not being my own boss and I really wish I was doing something a bit more lucrative and related to programming.
The plan is to throw ideas around for a few months and then go for it and start some sort of new business.

Rails looks amazing and building the demo Todo program was a blast. Now I just need to figure out the more advanced features and come up with a web app worth making.
