I'm doing 42 things
I got into lucid dreaming in college when I accidentally came across the label for what had been happening to me for a while. I have always been one of those people who would have moments in my dreams where I would sort of step out and go “Oh yes, I know what is going to happen next, I have had this dream before” or “oh, I am dreaming lets change things up and fly…”. Once I came to realize that this was something special that I could practice and become better at I did. I read the book “Conscious Dreaming”, started a dream journal that I wrote in almost every night, and told myself every night before going to bed that I was going to have a lucid dream. The result was lucid dreams occurring more frequently and lasting longer. It is also very helpful for getting out of nightmares and solving dream puzzles. Definitely worth trying.

How I did it: It just took time. Turning 30 sucked. It hurt and many people didn't understand why and that made it harder - but this one wasn't so much about them but about me. How I did it: My sister-in-law told me that one of the local bars was hosting a Bull on my 31st birthday. It seemed like a great way to say goodbye to 30.
