How I did it: Tickets were expensive; wasn't sure if I'd be able to go. But I've been a fan of Fleetwood Mac for a while and had just spent a semester researching them for a school paper, so I really wanted to. How I did it: Went with a school group on behalf of a "Jewish humanitarian group", so we gave away clothes and medicine and visited a synagogue one day...our professor took care of the visas and stuff, but we went through ABC charters, flying through Miami. Read how I did it…

Possibly the best experience of my life…I took Spanish/cultural classes, lived with a host family, and did a lot of sight seeing in Seville, Cordoba, and Cadiz (beach town—most beautiful place I’ve been). I went in late February, early March, and while it was snowing in Pennsylvania, it was 70 degrees and sunny every day I was there (though I think it would have been colder in Madrid and deff. in Barcelona). For the most part, the people there were lively and friendly (save a few waiters frustrated with our bad Spanish), and the culture’s just so much warmer and, in my opinion, seemed a lot happier.

I saw them at the Trocadero in Philly last Friday…the show was great! They performed with the Hush Sound and Hello Stranger, who were awesome also.
