How I did it: Made a list of the tunes I wanted to do, and set about recording them in my home studio. I had to come up with how I wanted things to sound - how many tracks, or did I just want to play it with one? I knew the overall sound I wanted. Did everything myself, down to assembling the CDs. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I got tired of waiting for help from someone else and took the project on my own. While it is far from what someone might call a 'truly professional' project (mastering), I did a freaking good job, if I do say so myself - and I am a PERFECTIONIST. I'm proud of my cd. Read how I did it…
How I did it: i began to embrace my uniqueness, not look at it as a detriment. when i realized that, it became easier to do. i spent my life dealing with people who told me "you can't" - and don't get me wrong, some days i have my doubts - but by and large i now listen to ME. i don't care what anyone else thinks anymore. i don't care how stupid or juvenile something sounds to someone else - if i want to do it, i'm going to do it… Read how I did it…

yeah. it was cool – i’d like to make above-starving wages this time tho. i am constantly amazed that the average joe never realizes all the YEARS of study/practice that go into the finished product (the musician/honing the talent). they don’t want to pay you anything… i think since the word “play” and “music” are often used together, that is why people don’t want to pay to hear it. “play” insinuates fun (ie., not work), when alot of times, as anyone who’s done this knows, it IS indeed WORK. nobody wants to pay to see someone having fun. they figure if you’re having fun, that should be your reward. uh, NOT.
i’ve played for 32 years. i can play beethoven on guitar, note for note. i can play bach til i drop. lol nobody wants to hear that stuff. well, wait, correction – they want to hear it, but for free.
tonight i’m playing for tips in a coffee shop. this was not what i had in mind when i went to music college…but it gets me out of the house. :)
because i had 2 years of Latin in high school.
my professors hated me. LOL that was reason enough to learn it. LOL >:)
seriously though, if you plan on going into medical or legal, it’s a MUST HAVE.
