I find I can do better monitoring myself in the car. I tend to realize I’ve got my “nose on the steering wheel” more often than I notice that I’ve got “my nose on the desk”. So I am really trying to concentrate on that. I figure I’ve slouched for so long I am going to need to build up those muscles before I can set my sights on being straight all the time. I also purchased a yoga DVD, but haven’t figured out how to watch it, and follow it at the same time with out moving furniture…

On the road

I finished reading the Martini Diet on New Year’s Eve. I’ve been trying to act on the principles in the book and I think I’m making a little progress. I made some realizations about what I’ve been doing wrong and trying to make the adjustments. I think my jeans might be a skosh looser, haven’t weighed myself lately. I’ve also been following my belly dancing DVD for several nights a week, every week this month. So I’m making some progress even if it isn’t visible yet.

I got a Brother machine last wednesday and spool of thread and a few yards of fabric. Today my teach yourself book arrived. Now I just need to find a spot to set up. Then I can start!!!
