How I did it: I set a date with a friend, checked the hours of operation, and madly drove all the way down Shaw because we were running late. It is located in a bit of a strange spot in the midst of traffic and buildings but once you are underneath, it is like an entirely different world. How I did it: I purchased five medium sized lemons at the local farmer's market last night. Following the recipe found here, but making a few modifications for size, I dissolved a cup of sugar into a cup of water while concurrently juicing the lemons. Mix the simple sugar syrup and lemon juice, add a few cups of water, and cool. The site lists all sorts of different garnishes, from strawberries to ginger, but mint is by far my favorite. How I did it: After trying multiple filing systems that all seemed to end up turning my desk into a gigantic mess, I fell prey to the Getting Things Done slogan, and after spending about an hour reading about it online, I went to Office Max to purchase two sets of dividers (1-3 and Jan-Dec) which went into a three inch ring binder. Good things take time, and I wanted to be sure. Yesterday I got the crown tattoo I’ve wanted for several years. It came out great, exactly what I wanted. I can’t wait for the swelling and redness to go away.
