How I did it: My store manager was during the Daniel fast and I was trying to do something to jump start a lifestyle change within myself... Well, I decided to join her fast with her and do some research about what I was getting myself into. It turns out that the Daniel fast is a vegan fast that is even more strict. No processed foods, no chemicals, no white anything (sugar, rice, pasta), no sweeteners, no coffee, tea or many other things. You can eat … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I stopped logging in to 43things but then I got really lonely and found my way back... Umm, kind of like forgetting about a really good friend you had and then seeing them years later and remembering why you were the best of friends... it was like that. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Whenever I felt like writing, I did. If I felt like stopping, I did. Even if I was in the middle of a sentence, I would stop. I never wanted to take the joy out of the writing experience... And blogging is one of the most honest forms of writing... Just let go and let God guide your hands. Read how I did it…

My personal motto for the year:
I Hope You Dance
I hope you never lose your sense of wonder,
You get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger,
May you never take one single breath for granted,
GOD forbid love ever leave you empty handed,
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean,
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens,
Promise me that you’ll give faith a fighting chance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.
I hope you dance….I hope you dance.
I hope you never fear those mountains in the distance,
Never settle for the path of least resistance
Livin’ might mean takin’ chances but they’re worth takin’,
Lovin’ might be a mistake but it’s worth makin’,
Don’t let some hell bent heart leave you bitter,
When you come close to sellin’ out reconsider,
Give the heavens above more than just a passing glance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.
I hope you dance….I hope you dance.
I hope you dance….I hope you dance.
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along,
Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone.)
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean,
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens,
Promise me that you’ll give faith a fighting chance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.
Dance….I hope you dance.
I hope you dance….I hope you dance.
I hope you dance….I hope you dance..
(Time is a wheel in constant motion always rolling us along
Tell me who wants to look back on their years and wonder where those years have gone)
