How I did it: The day didn't go without hitches and moments where I could've screamed... I was tired and stressed and that was before I even got going... But once my friends arrived and got settled I could relax and start to enjoy myself. The day, overall, was fantastic and I loved being able to spend time with my friends and go around the Zoo together. Very simple yet very special at the same time. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I know it's a bed with four posts... but wow... the experience was beautiful.... Mind you I think that might have been down to the circumstances (the weekend of my birthday) and the person who was with me (D) and also getting to wake up with D on my actual birthday.... But regardless.. it was lovely. The room in the hotel was fantastic - bed was very comfy - and I loved it. Will have to sweet talk D into doing it again sometime =) Read how I did it…
How I did it: My Grandmother gave me a sum of money to use... and I thought of buying something special from Tiffanys to remember her by. I am now the proud owner of a silver key necklace... and the best thing is that Grandma got to see it, and see me wear it before she passed away. It is now a poignant reminder of my Grandmother. I mean, no tent…. just me and the beautiful night’s sky.
I have a feeling I will either need to visit Australia, or wait until next summer to make this happen, as I think a night out in the English autumn/ winter might just make me rather ill and I might not get to finish my list!
I should be able to write, a well constructed sentence and not rely on over use of exclamation points/ marks to illustrate that I am shocked, happy or angry.
It’s just plain laziness.

I ABSOLUTELY hate New Year with a passion. I am normally in bed, fast asleep with my phone on silent, to avoid the celebrations…
HATE IT.
However D has challenged me to enjoy New Year celebrations… At the moment, the plan is for me to spend New Year 2009-2010 with him.
I suspect that a quiet evening, a meal, curl up on the sofa with each other, read or maybe watch a film and then share a glass of champagne out on the blacony at midnight would be blissful…
So fingers crossed.
