Well I started this goal a few years ago and I did make progress for awhile, but since then things have not really gotten better I did cut up all my cards I don’t carry them anywhere so I don’t necessarily go shopping “at stores” I can still access them for online shopping occasionally it’s very occasionally, but still it should be 0 and that’s what I’ve been trying to do lately and hopefully going forward some positive points in my get out of debt struggles is that my car is almost paid off and my student loan balance is quickly diminishing credit card debt now that is another story, but I’ve gotten the rare opportunity to work overtime at work I can do up to 16 hours for the foreseeable future hopefully this will help me finally take a bite out of this annoying thing called debt

How I did it: my Sister in Law is having her first baby so I decided to make a quilt for the baby and once I started I just kept going and finished fairly quickly. the original quilt I started this goal with is still unfinished, but now that I've done one I can go back and finish the first one. I'm going to give my sister in law the blanket at her baby shower next weekend. I copied a baby blanket I had when I was a baby and just copied it from that Read how I did it…
I was bad I charged up a couple cards that I’d previously paid off, but I’m just seeing this as a minor set back because I made so much progress last year I’ve got a renewed drive I’m going to use my tax rebate to pay down some more cards and the cards are going away now the problem was I kept them around so they were a temptation so I think it’s time to shred them. and get some self control. well wish me luck for a debt free 2009
maybe it’s just because it’s the first of the year or I’m getting a little older I don’t know ,but I’ve decided this year is the year I take charge this includes my finances so that means I need to get things in order my spending, my debt and my savings these are my money goals for this year
