Went to Ireland for a week by myself. I had an amazing time seeing the beautiful countryside. Started in Dublin for a couple of days, then headed southwest to Kilkenny, an absolutely adorable little town with great crepes and bookstores, then headed west to Galway. While staying in Galway, I took a ferry out to the Aran Islands, where Gaelic is still spoken as a first language. They are extremely rural, definitely more tractors than cars, and one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Every so often, while walking around the island, I felt like I was the only one there. I really want to go back to Ireland someday soon!

From Bristol, to Nottingham, to Sherwood Forest, to York, to Edinburgh and the Scottish countryside, to the west coast and back. Beautiful country. Would do it again in a heartbeat.
The best tourist attraction in all London!

I always wanted to do this, but put it off because of the tourist crowds. Why did I wait so long? Sure, I didn’t see a single Londoner, but the quality of theater was well worth it. I paid £5 to stand in the yard, which as far as I’m concerned is the best seat in the house. You really feel like you’re part of the action, plus you have enough money left over to buy yourself lunch. :)
