... that I get such a buzz from being in NY? I LOVE London, but more and more, I keep meeting interesting people from NYC. A couple of people there I’ve seen more often this year than some of my friends in London! I think I’m in a transition phase and NYC is certainly part of this phase…

Hmmm… How to afford to keep my flat in London (I’d still like to be able to come back and forth), live in NY, and have a decent income without the benefit of a green card…?

I’ll do it! I just don’t know how yet.

It’s a NYLon life for me!

...I’d like to NOT be too afraid to fall in love.

My first feature length script, Passed Caring was recently awarded Best Screenplay at the 2006 Independent Black Film Festival, Atlanta, USA, and now, with companies like Focus Features asking to read it, all I do is dream about exchanging my current hellish existence (I temp in the City and investment banks are the devil’s cesspit but they pay well) for another spookily alluring one (Hollywood, anyone?).

Oh well, a change is, they say, as good as a rest… But wait! There’s always the low budget, independent, film festival and art house screened, MySpace hyped, straight to DVD market – and hip trounces trendy, any day – who cares if there’s a few zeros missing from the paycheck?
