Training started last week for the OBX Marathon at Kill Devil Hills, NC. I’m running it with a dude from work who’s alot faster than me. We ran 4 miles yesterday faster than I’ve ever done it.

How I did it: I got a referral, called the lady, liked the first apartment, and showed my roommate. I had the money together for all the deposits I need, so money was easy. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I built up to it. I quit eating beef and pork, in November, and then I gave up poultry. I did research first, and made sure I would get enough protein from the fish, eggs, and vegetables I'm still eating. I couldn't have done it, otherwise. Christmas was rough, but not as bad as I thought it would have been. At least some meat had already started to look unappealing; and thankfully, no one noticed me not eati… Read how I did it…

Little late for this one….....
I moved out of the freaking dorms, and now I love off base. Not exactly a BRAND NEW experience, since I’ve lived in a few apartments before, but still exciting.
