i can ride… in a ziq-zag formation! got scratches on my left calf, but i’m so happy! i dance when i’m riding the bicycle (it sure made everyone have a good laugh) and almost crashed into (stationary/parked) cars countless of times in the neighbourhood at 9pm tonight :)



Run
i love running, because... 1 day ago

-i can talk to myself
-it’s my lone time
-it’s a whole new dance revolution on it’s own
-it doesn’t make me feel young. i don’t care for immortality. what running does is it makes me wise.
-somehow i feel that my energy is more balanced when i run..
-i’m honest with myself
-i get to stretch like a cat before and after
-i get to really breathe
-it’s when my skin (and body) gets to cry (with joy)
-i know i don’t have to prove anything to anyone, not even to myself
-running loves me :)

1. woke up, and went for a run.. gosh, it was so beautiful and i feel so light and energized afterwards.. there were people doing their tai chi and they had soft, buddhist chants playing for the whole neighbourhood area to hear. after warming up, i put some music on -onerepublic’s all fall down and stop & stare was great.. the irony of the lyrics made me feel better running. people were basically nonchalant, except a kind lady who smiled at me every round or so.

2. breakfast. before the run, i poured some hot water into my mug of strawberry tea and slammed it into the freezer. nothing’s better than cold tea after a run :). i made myself a sandwich -cheese (sparingly) and jam; and tried some olive oil with the no-sugar bread. i love feeding my body

3. my childhood friend and i will be going for taebo (a combination of taekwondo and boxing; who knew?). i’ve tried taekwondo, karate and kickboxing (even a little bit of capeoira) before, so this will be interesting. :) after the class, we’ll go for dinner and a movie.
