I have loved Chinese Char Pei’s from the age of 6!! Char Pei dogs are from ancient China and were used to kill bears. A bear could not kill the Char Pei’s because their skin is so thick, loose and tough. They are also very protective, loving, and loyal dogs. They are very popular for their wrinckles and very cute, but are mostly used as guard dogs, and are not for families with children, unless raise from a pup with children.
